I burned the midnight oil this weekend to make the these 11 new literary data sets available. And here you go! If you are teaching any of these books, reading them in a book club, or just have them on your personal reading list, go on and give the data an exploration. You will be surprised by what you find!
As usual, the books are a mix of requests from educators and book club facilitators, as well as my own reads. Here is what you will find:
- 1984 by George Orwell
- Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
- Beautiful World, Where are You by Sally Rooney
- The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
- The Giver by Lois Lowry
- Moby Dick by Herman Melville
- Native Son by Richard Wright
- The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
- Persuasion by Jane Austen
- The Pigman by Paul Zindel
- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
If you have other books you’d like to see, just message me! And if you are not sure how to start, it’s helpful to begin with this little post I wrote sometime back.
